KnowBe4 Setup Guide Lite In Devlink

Follow our setup guide to connect KnowBe4 to Fivetran.

Prerequisiteslink

To connect KnowBe4 to Fivetran, you need:

• A KnowBe4 account with Admin access
• API access

  NOTE: KnowBe4 APIs are available for Platinum and Diamond subscriptions.

Setup instructionslink

Find subdomain link

1. Log in to your KnowBe4 account.

2. Find your account's subdomain in the KnowBe4 URL. For example:

   • If you account is hosted on the US server training.knowbe4.com, your subdomain is us.
   • If you account is hosted on the EU server eu.knowbe4.com, your subdomain is eu.

Generate API tokenlink

1. In your KnowBe4 account, click your email address in the top right corner and go to the Account Settings section.
2. Click Account Integrations > API.
3. Check the Enable Reporting API Access checkbox to generate an API token.
4. Make a note of the API token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Finish Fivetran configurationlink

1. In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
2. In the Subdomain drop-down, select the subdomain you found in Step 1.
3. Enter the API token you generated in Step 2.
4. Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your KnowBe4 data.
