Error: Customer List Terms And Conditions Not Accepted

Issue

Under Sync History, records sent to the Microsoft Advertising destination appear as Rejected. The following error appears:

CustomerListTermsAndConditionsNotAccepted.

Environment

Fivetran Activations
Destination: Microsoft Advertising (Bing)

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

Sign in to Microsoft Advertising as the authorizing user connected to Fivetran, or as a user with access to the same account hierarchy.
Go to Tools > Audiences.
Create a new Customer Match list.
When prompted, accept the Customer Match terms and policies.
Save the audience.
In Fivetran, re-run the sync.

Accepting the terms on an existing audience doesn't resolve the error. You must accept the terms while creating a new customer match list.

Cause

This issue occurs when you haven't accepted the Customer Match terms and conditions in Microsoft Advertising for the connected account. Fivetran can't accept these terms during upload.
