Error: F_JD2424 This Column Does Not Have DBMS Supplemental Logging Enabled

Issue

Capture jobs fail with the following error:

F_JD2424: Missing value found while comparing column '<column>' of table '<table>' with another value for the same column/table. One potential cause is that this column does not have DBMS "supplemental logging" enabled for changes in the capture database.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, perform Activate Replication with the following options selected:

• Jobs
• Supplemental Logging
• Force Start Replication Jobs

Cause

This issue occurs when the Oracle supplemental logging feature isn't enabled on tables you want to replicate, which is required. For more information, see our documentation on supplemental logging for Oracle as a Source.
