Error: F_JD2315 DBMS Error SQL0551N

Issue

A Compare job fails with the following error:

F_JD2315: DBMS error [SQL0551N The statement failed because the authorization ID does not have the required authorization or privilege to perform the operation. Authorization ID: "HVRUSER". Operation: "SELECT". Object: "OWNER.TABLE_NAME". SQLSTATE=42501. SQL4726N The request cannot complete because the service class with ID "HVRUSER" was dropped while the request was executing. SQLSTATE=0168Z]

Environment

• HVR 6.3.0/4
• Database: IBM Db2 version 13.01.0002

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1. Grant HVRUSER the required SELECT privilege on the affected table:

   GRANT SELECT ON OWNER.<TABLE_NAME> TO HVRUSER;
   

2. Confirm that HVRUSER is active and that no service classes linked to the user were dropped during the Compare job.
3. Run the Compare job again.
4. If the issue persists, contact our support team and provide the Compare logs and channel configuration.

Cause

This issue occurs when HVRUSER lacks the SELECT privilege required to compare the affected table. It may also occur if an associated Db2 service class is dropped while the Compare job is running.
