Error: Attribute Cannot Be Set Now 16469
Issue
After upgrading to Snowflake ODBC Driver 4.0 or later, testing a Snowflake location connection in HVR fails with an error similar to the following:
DBMS Error [ODBC Driver]Attribute cannot be set now: 16469 error trace: 0: Attribute cannot be set now at odbc/src/api/connection.rs:1738:18
Environment
- HVR 6
- Driver: Snowflake ODBC Driver 4.0 or later
Resolution
To resolve this issue:
- Uninstall Snowflake ODBC Driver 4.0 from the machine hosting the HVR Hub or location agent.
- Download and install a supported 3.x version, such as version 3.4.x.
- Test the Snowflake location connection again.

Cause
This issue occurs because current HVR versions don't support Snowflake ODBC Driver 4.0 or later.
