Dashboard Improvements

Connector list bulk actions

You can now pause, unpause, sync, or delete multiple connectors at once. Select or clear connectors by selecting the connector checkboxes.

You can now change the display mode by clicking Show Selected or Show All in the bulk actions panel.

Pausing and deleting connectors require additional confirmation.

Fivetran GCP US Servers

We have added new servers in the US (Iowa) region.

If you're on a Business Critical plan, you can now select this region in your destination setup form. Connectors configured in a destination run in their designated cloud and region, meaning that your data doesn't leave our region-specific servers during processing. For example, if you configure your connectors to use our servers in the US, your data does not leave the US during processing.

Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications

We have stopped marking the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications connector tables as Excluded By System on the Schema tab of your connector dashboard if the datastore is inactive.

Outbrain

We have added a new table, CAMPAIGN_CONVERSION_REPORT, which has a composite primary key consisting of the day, campaign_id, name, and platform columns. The campaign_id column refers to the CAMPAIGN_HISTORY table. We have made this change to sync campaign-related conversion metrics.

Qualtrics

We have changed the composite primary key of the DISTRIBUTION_CONTACT table to ensure data integrity. The new composite primary key is a combination of the distribution_id, contact_id, and contact_lookup_id columns. Be sure to update your queries. We are gradually rolling out this changes to all existing connections.

Rootly

We have added a new table, RETROSPECTIVE_PROCESS.

We have added a new column, retrospective_process_id, to the RETROSPECTIVE table.

Salesforce

We have added two new tables, EXTERNAL_STRING and EXTERNAL_STRING_LOCALIZATION. We are gradually rolling out this change to all existing connections.

We have added a new toggle, Non-standard character escaping?, to the connector setup form to support the non-standard ways of escaping characters. If your CSV generator uses non-standard ways of escaping characters, set the toggle to ON and in the Character Escaping options drop-down menu, select one of the following options:

• Custom Escape Character: To process CSV files that use custom escape characters to escape quotation marks.
• Delimited Only: To process CSV files that don't use escape characters to escape quotation marks and process with delimiter only.

We have added a new configuration option, Primary Key used for file process and load, in the connector setup form to support syncing files with custom primary keys. You can now select the custom primary keys during the connector configuration and use them to update or insert new rows in your destination. Box

Our Box connector now supports syncing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in Merge Mode. For more information, see our setup instructions.

Buildkite

You can now configure your Buildkite connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is available for Free, Standard, Enterprise, and Business Critical accounts.

Campaign Monitor

You can now configure your Campaign Monitor connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is available for Free, Standard, Enterprise, and Business Critical accounts.

ChartMogul

Fountain

We have added a new configuration option, URL format, to the connector setup form to support all regional variants of the Fountain URL. For more information, see our setup instructions and REST API config.

Freightview

You can now configure your Freightview connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is available for Free, Standard, Enterprise, and Business Critical accounts.

Google Ads

We now support Google Ads API 15.

Integral Ad Science

We no longer use your Integral Ad Science client ID and client secret to access and sync your data. To support this enhancement, we have made the following changes:

• Removed the Client ID and Client Secret fields from the connector setup form.
• Removed the client_id and client_secret parameters from the REST API configuration.

Jira Align

We now capture deletes for all tables. To support this feature, we have changed the connector's sync strategy. We now re-import all tables. Previously, we incrementally synced all the tables.

Klaviyo

We have migrated all Klaviyo connections created before December 19, 2023, to Klaviyo API v2023-10-15. For more information, see our December 2023 changelog.

We have introduced a new option in our connector setup form that allows you to sync only events associated with active profiles in Klaviyo. By default, we sync events associated with both active and deleted profiles.

Kustomer

You can now exclude the following child tables of the MESSAGE table from your syncs:

Mailchimp

We now use List webhooks to sync data regarding campaign and automation email unsubscribes in the UNSUBSCRIBE table. During an incremental sync, our connector registers Fivetran webhooks for every list with unsubscribe events triggered from all possible sources. During the initial sync, our connector use the Reports endpoint to sync the UNSUBSCRIBE table for all campaigns and automation emails.

Monday.com

You can now configure your Monday.com connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is available for Free, Standard, Enterprise, and Business Critical accounts.

MySQL

We now support replication using global transaction identifiers (GTIDs). In GTID mode, we stream incremental updates from your database using each transaction's GTID instead of its binary log position.

Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications

We now convert the data types for the following columns to DOUBLE irrespective of their original data types at the source:

• FaBalanceExtractBeginningBalance column in the FA_BALANCES_EXTRACT_PVO table
• reverse_uom_rate column in the UOM_INTERCLASS_PVO table

We also convert the data types for columns with amount, duration, and price suffixes from NUMERIC to DOUBLE. We are making these improvements to avoid data integrity issues.

Pardot

We now perform rollback syncs with a window of three days to capture all the updates made to the EMAIL_TAG table. This addresses the issue where email sent_at dates occurring after their related tag created_at dates led to missed updates. In some cases, if the difference between the email sent_at dates and the related tag object created_at date is more than three days, the email tag objects may not be synced. To resolve this issue, contact our support team.

We are gradually rolling out this improvement to all the existing connections.

Ramp

You can now configure your Ramp connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is available for Free, Standard, Enterprise, and Business Critical accounts.

Rarible

You can now configure your Rarible connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is available for Free, Standard, Enterprise, and Business Critical accounts.

Rollbar

We now use both project access tokens and account access tokens to access and sync your Rollbar data. To facilitate this enhancement, we have made the following changes:

• Added a new field, Project access token, and renamed the Access Token field to Account access token in the connector setup form
• Added a new parameter, project_access_token, and renamed the access_token parameter to account_access_token in the Fivetran REST API

We have changed our sync strategy for the ContentDocumentLink object to improve connector performance. Previously, we synced the object using filters on the parentId, resulting in longer sync times. We now sync the object directly without any filters if you have enabled the Query All Files permission to sync the ContentDocumentLink object. For more information, see Salesforce's release notes.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud

We have changed our sync strategy for the CATALOG table to fix data integrity issues of the child tables. We now re-import the table. Previously, we incrementally synced the table.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud

We have released a pre-built, dbt Core-compatible data model for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Find the model in Fivetran's dbt hub or data models documentation. Learn more about our dbt Core integration in our Transformations for dbt Core documentation*.

Workday RaaS

We have changed the sync strategy for our Workday RaaS connector. We now support incremental syncs for the reports whose URL contains dynamic query parameters. For more information, see our documentation.

Our HVR Registration API resource is now in beta. You can now leverage the Register a new hub feature.

Log events

Removed dashboard activity log event

We have removed the forced_pause_connector dashboard activity log event. We now send an automated pause event, pause_connector with the actor:Fivetran attribute. We issue the automated pause event either for broken or trial expired connectors.
