Insights

The Insights tab on the Connection Details page highlights the value Fivetran provides for your connection. It shows the data quality work we handle automatically, the volume of data we process, and the connector's most recent improvements.

The metrics on this tab reflect activity for the current calendar month to date, except for Recent Improvements, which always shows the five most recent connector updates regardless of when they were released.

The Insights tab includes the following sections:

• Data maintenance this month, which shows data quality issues that Fivetran automatically handled for you this month, eliminating the need for manual intervention and investigation and preventing impact on your data. It covers two important metrics:
  • Schema changes handled: the number of schema changes, such as new tables, columns, or other schema updates, that Fivetran detected and applied for the connection during the current month.
  • Source deletes captured: the number of deleted rows Fivetran detected in your source and captured in your destination for the connection during the current month.
• Data processed this month, which shows the data Fivetran successfully extracted and delivered for the connection during the current month. It covers the following:
  • Data volume delivered: the total number of rows Fivetran processed, the number and percentage of row changes that count toward your paid MAR usage.
  • Associated downstream models: the number of prebuilt Fivetran Quickstart transformation models that use data from the connection.
  If there are no associated downstream models, you can click Add Quickstart to set up a downstream transformation.

• Recent improvements, which shows the five most recent release notes for this connector, regardless of when they were released.
