Updated November 16, 2023

We offer the following free trials:

  • 14-day account trial
  • 14-day new connector free use period

Free account triallink

We offer a 14-day free account trial, so you can test our connectors to see if they meet your business needs. The free trial begins when a connector starts an incremental sync and the system detects incremental MAR. During the trial period, you can complete a historical sync, review the performance of periodic data updates, analyze your data, and try out other Fivetran features. Learn more in our new account trial documentation.

Setting up your free account trial is quick and easy. For a preview of the setup process, watch this short video of a new data pipeline setup:

How you set up your free account trial depends on whether you want to use your own destination, or a free, Fivetran-managed destination. Follow the setup instructions that apply to you:

  • I want to use my own destination
  • I want to use a free, Fivetran-managed destination

New connector free use periodlink

Once your 14-day free account trial has ended and your account is active, every connector that you create in your dashboard has 14 days of use at no cost. This 14-day free use period automatically applies to all new connectors, irrespective of their type. You can have multiple new connector free use periods running simultaneously in your account.

NOTE: No MAR from a connector that is active within the free use period will contribute to your usage during those 14 days. You get one 14-day free use period per destination schema name and connector type pairing. Learn more in our free use period limitations documentation.

Every connector that was created during your 14-day account trial stays free until the end of its 14-day connector free use period, when it is converted to a paying (non-free) connector.

During the new connector free use period, you can receive a monthly usage estimate for your connector, see the daily MAR numbers, pause the connector after the free use period has ended or keep it running. Learn more in our new connector free use period documentation.
