We now support automatic schema migration of Delta Lake tables in Databricks. For more information about configuring automatic schema migration, see our setup instructions.
You can no longer modify the following fields in the Azure Data Lake Storage setup form after you create the destination:
- Storage Account Name
- Container Name
- Prefix Path

We no longer perform hex encoding to store binary values in the destination.
We now support the Iceberg format for your destination tables. This feature is now available in beta. For more information, see our Azure Data Lake Storage documentation.
June 2024
You can now specify how long you want us to retain your table snapshots before deleting them through table maintenance operations. To facilitate this enhancement, we have added a new drop-down menu, Snapshot Retention Period, to the destination setup form. For more information, see our setup instructions.

We now perform regular maintenance operations on the tables in your Azure Data Lake Storage destination. These maintenance operations do the following:
- Delete the table snapshots that are older than 7 days
- Clean up orphan and removed files

You can now connect Fivetran to your ADLS container using Azure PrivateLink connection. This feature is supported only in Business Critical plans. For more information, see our setup instructions.
