When SCIM Is Enabled, How Can I Delete a Team That Doesn't Exist in the IdP?
Question
When System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) is enabled, how can I delete a team that doesn't exist in my identity provider (IdP)?
Environment
- Account Settings
- SCIM
Answer
To delete a team that no longer exists in your IdP, do the following:
- In Fivetran, go to Account Settings > General.
- On the Account Settings tab, scroll down to the SCIM Config section.
- Disable SCIM by setting the Enable SCIM Provisioning toggle to OFF.
- Go to Account Settings > Users & Permissions > Teams, then delete the applicable team. For more information, see our Delete teams documentation.
- Go back to Account Settings > General > Account Settings, then re-enable SCIM by setting the Enable SCIM Provisioning toggle to ON.
IMPORTANT: Disabling SCIM doesn't impact existing users and teams in your Fivetran account. However, while SCIM is disabled, you can't create new users or teams through the SCIM integration.
