Error: Cannot Create Table in Zero-ETL Database

Issue

Syncs fail. The following error appears:

ERROR: Cannot create table in zero-ETL database

Environment

Destination: Amazon Redshift using zero-ETL integrations.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, delete the zero-ETL integrations from your destination or set up a new destination that doesn't use zero-ETL integrations.

Cause

This issue occurs when you use zero-ETL integrations with your Amazon Redshift destination. Zero-ETL integrations automatically manage schema replication from Aurora to Redshift, which restricts us from manually creating tables in your destination.
