Error: Named Range Doesn't Exist

Issue

While setting up a Google Sheets connection, the following error appears:

Unable to validate named range. Named range doesn't exist

Environment

Connector: Google Sheets

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. Wait 15 minutes.
2. In Fivetran, go to your connection page.
3. Select the Setup tab.
4. Click Edit connection.
5. In the Named Range drop-down menu, select the applicable named range.
6. Click Save & Test.

NOTE: If the named range doesn't appear in the Named Range drop-down menu, contact our support team.

Cause

When you create a new named range in Google Sheets, it may take up to 15 minutes to appear in the Named Range drop-down menu of the setup form. As a result, this issue occurs when you try to specify a named range before it becomes available.
