CDS View Tables Missing From the Schema Tab

Issue

Tables corresponding to Core Data Services (CDS) views are missing from the Schema tab in Fivetran.

Environment

Connector: SAP OData

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1. In SAP, verify the following:
   • The OData services are registered and active in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE under /sap/opu/odata/sap.
   • The SAP Gateway and relevant SICF services are active.
   • The authenticating SAP user can access the OData catalog and each target service.
2. Ensure the CDS view includes @OData.publish: true to publish it and @Analytics.dataExtraction.enabled: true to enable extraction. For more information, see SAP OData Sync Overview.
3. Confirm that the entity exposes at least one key property. We don't support keyless entities.
4. After updating SAP, click Save & Test in Fivetran to discover the tables.

Cause

This issue occurs when the underlying OData service is inactive, the CDS view lacks the required publishing or extraction annotations, or the entity doesn't expose a key property.
