Why Did My WAL-Enabled Connector Time Out?

Why did my logical replication PostgreSQL connector's sync time out?

Environment

• Connector: PostgreSQL
• Sync method: Logical replication

Answer

We are not able to extract data from WAL slot after 24 hours, so we time out the sync and will try again in the next sync. This problem can be caused by a very large transaction being injected or too many records accumulating in the WAL slot. Contact Fivetran if the problem persists.
