Amazon Kinesis Firehose
Amazon Kinesis Firehose is a tool for capturing, manipulating, and loading data as it streams from a source to an AWS destination. Upon arrival at an S3 bucket, data from a Firehose delivery stream will appear without newline delimiters in extensionless files. Fivetran supports syncing from an Amazon S3 bucket to your destination json files that originate from a Kinesis Firehose delivery stream.

Setup guide
Follow our step-by-step Amazon Kinesis Firehose setup guide to connect Amazon Kinesis Firehose with your destination using Fivetran connectors.
Enhancing connector performance with compressed files
We recommend utilizing compressed files to write events from Kinesis Data Firehose to an S3 bucket. Compressed files can significantly enhance the performance of the connector during data ingestion. The reduced data size results in faster transmission and processing, which increases the overall sync speed of the connector.
