Can Fivetran truncate and load the data to my destination every time the connector syncs?

Answer

Fivetran does not offer a way to truncate the data written to the tables in the destination. Fivetran also doesn’t need the authenticating user to have those privileges.

We develop connectors to sync data incrementally from the source to the destination. We do not truncate and rewrite the table if the source doesn’t allow us to track incremental changes.
