Can I Change the Time Zone for System Columns In My Destination?

In Fivetran, I can choose a destination time zone to determine when my syncs start. However, timestamps in system columns, such as _fivetran_synced, are in UTC.

Can I change the time zone for these columns?

No, we don't support changing the time zone for system columns in your destination. We always sync system column timestamps in UTC.

The destination time zone setting in Fivetran only affects your sync schedule. It does not change the time zone used for system columns. To view these timestamps in another time zone, convert them using your destination's time zone functions.
