Does Fivetran sync data to an existing schema in the destination?

Answer

We use the Destination schema name you provide in the connector setup form to create the schema in your destination. By default, we use the connector name as the destination schema name. If a schema with the same name already exists, we sync the data to the existing schema instead of creating a new one. For more information, see our schema and table management documentation.
