Error: Original Value Could Not Be Synced Because It Exceeds Your Warehouse’s Maximum Column Length

Issue

A JSON column shows the following error message:

{"FIVETRAN ERROR": "Original value could not be synced because it exceeded your warehouse's maximum length of N"}

To resolve this error, fix the column value at the source so that it is in accordance with the maximum length allowed by the destination.

Cause

Each destination has a different maximum allowed length for JSON-type columns. For more information, see our Long value truncation documentation.
