To avoid issues while updating your cloud service provide, we recommend that you do the following:
- In your Fivetran dashboard, go to your connector page.
- In the top right corner, pause your connector by setting the ENABLED toggle to OFF.
- See our IP Addresses documentation and safelist the applicable IP address for your provider, region, and location.
- Remove unneeded IP addresses from your safelist settings.
- In Fivetran, update your cloud service provider. See Choosing your data processing location and cloud service provider to learn more.
- Resume your connector to apply your updates.
Updating the data processing location for webhook connectors
We store webhook connector data in a bucket associated with your cloud service provider. If you update your data processing location, we won't automatically migrate the applicable buckets to the appropriate region. To ensure the applicable buckets are migrated, contact our support team with the list of affected connectors and the updated data processing location.
