We do not recommend changing the data type of a column in the destination table.

Fivetran chooses the data types and uses the most appropriate one for the source data type. You can find information about the data type conversions on the individual destination pages.

If you change the data type of a column to something not chosen by the connector, you may encounter data integrity issues or a broken connector.

Each destination supports different data types.
