What Happens if I Manually Add or Remove Tables in My Destination?

I would like to add or remove tables in an existing schema in my destination. These tables do not exist in the connected source. Will this cause any problems?

Adding or removing tables that are not part of the connected source shouldn't cause any problems. Fivetran would ignore them. Our data writer logic wouldn't notice that they’re present in the destination unless we run into a naming conflict. For more information about our naming conventions, see our documentation.
