Answer

You can only sync a TXT file if the file's content is in CSV format. See our supported file formats documentation for more information.

To sync TXT files while setting up your connector, select the csv option from the File Type drop-down menu. To change the File Type option for existing connectors, do the following:

1. In your Fivetran dashboard, go to your file connector's page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Edit connection details.
4. In the File Type drop-down menu, select csv.
5. Click Save & Test.

After setting up or updating your connector, we will interpret the TXT file as a CSV file and sync it without issues.
