Error: Strict OOXML Isn't Currently Supported

Issue

Syncs fail. The following error appears:

Strict OOXML isn't currently supported, please see bug #57699

Environment

Connector: Google Drive

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. Find and download the impacted file from Google Drive.
2. Open the file in Microsoft Excel.
3. Save the file in Excel Workbook (.xlsx) format instead of Strict Open XML Spreadsheet (.xlsx) format.
4. Upload the updated file to Google Drive.

Cause

This issue occurs when you try to sync a Strict Open XML Spreadsheet (.xlsx) file, which we don't support. For the list of supported file types, see our Supported file formats documentation.
