Google Drive Connection Is Not Syncing All Expected Files

Issue

A Google Drive connection isn't syncing all expected files from a Drive folder. Only a subset of files are synced, even though additional files are present in the source folder.

Environment

• Connector: Google Drive
• Sync strategy: Merge Mode

Resolution

To troubleshoot this issue:

1. Confirm that all files contain identical sheet names. If a sheet name differs, we skip that file.

2. If you configured a specific cell reference, such as September Data, confirm that:

   i. The reference exists in every file.

   ii. The reference matches exactly, including spaces and capitalization.

3. Confirm that all files use the same:

   i. Table structure

   ii. Starting cell position

   iii. Column headers

Cause

This issue occurs when sheet names, cell references, starting cell positions, or table structures differ between files. When you use the Merge Mode sync strategy, we only sync the files that match the configured structure and skip the rest.
