While Using the Fivetran Teleport Sync Method, Can I Update My Connector's Host Details?

Question

My connector uses the Fivetran Teleport Sync incremental sync method. Can I update the host details associated with the connector?

Answer

Yes, you can change the host details associated with your connector. If the table configuration in your new database is exactly the same as your current database, we will continue to sync your data incrementally. However, if the table configurations differ, we will schedule a full re-sync. For more information, see our Automatic re-syncs for Teleport sync method documentation.

To update the host details associated with an existing connector, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your connector page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. Enter the new host details in the Host field.
5. Click Save & Test.
