Does Fivetran Support MongoDB Time Series Collections?

Question

Does Fivetran support MongoDB time series collections?

Environment

Connector: MongoDB

Answer

No, Fivetran doesn't support MongoDB time series collections. We use MongoDB change streams to capture incremental changes from the source, and MongoDB change streams don't support time series collections. You must use a standard MongoDB collection instead.

For more information, see the MongoDB Time Series Collection Limitations documentation.
