How Can I Reduce Costs From BigQuery Full Table Scans?

Question

How can I reduce costs from full table scans when syncing data from BigQuery?

Environment

Connector: BigQuery

Answer

To reduce costs from full table scans, try the following:

  1. Exclude any tables and columns you don't need from the connection schema. For more information, see Data Blocking and Column Hashing.
  2. Reduce the connection's sync frequency. For more information, see Sync Frequency and Scheduling.
