API Configuration

The following API configuration pages provide essential guidance for setting up different components using Fivetran REST API. Each configuration type has its specific requirements and options, ensuring that you can effectively manage your data pipelines. Below is an overview of the key API configuration pages:

• Connection API configuration page is tailored for individual connections, with distinct setup requirements for each type. Most configuration fields can be utilized in both the Create a Connection and Update a Connection requests. However, the following fields are exclusive to the creation process:
  • schema
  • table
  • schema_prefix
  • timeframe_months
• Destination API configuration is also unique to each destination, with ongoing updates to expand the list of supported destinations.
