We removed the Prefix field from the Splunk log service setup form and API. The prefix is now included directly in the Host field.
If you have an existing Splunk log service configured with a prefix, Fivetran automatically merges it into the host value — no action is needed. For new configurations, include the appropriate prefix in your hostname:
input-for Splunk Cloud (e.g.,input-example.splunkcloud.com)http-inputs-for AWS managed cloudhttp-inputs.for GCP, Azure, and AWS GovCloud managed cloud- No prefix for Splunk Enterprise

We’ve improved the structure of the events we send to Splunk. We now tag the events with the JSON source type and add time information. This allows Splunk to format the events properly and improve message ordering.
