Spreadsheet Files Are Missing From the Destination

Issue

I have set up my connector using the Merge Mode sync strategy and provided a cell reference for my syncs. However, some spreadsheet files are missing from my destination.

Environment

The following file connectors:

• Box
• Dropbox
• Google Drive
• SharePoint

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your connector page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Edit connection details.
4. In the Cell Reference for Syncs field, note the worksheet name included in the cell reference you provided. For example, if the cell reference is "Data"!C3", the worksheet name is "Data".
5. Ensure the name of each worksheet you want to sync matches the name included in the cell reference you provided.

Cause

When you provide a cell reference in the setup form's Cell Reference for Syncs field, it includes a worksheet name. We sync data from worksheets matching that name. This issue occurs when the name of the worksheet you want to sync doesn't match the name included in the cell reference you provided.
