Datadog Setup Guide

Follow our setup guide to integrate Fivetran logs into your Datadog Log Explorer.

Prerequisites

To connect Datadog to Fivetran, you need:

Go to the external log setup form.
Enter your Hostname. The host name will be a unique identifier for the logs generated from all connectors within this destination.
NOTE: You'll see this host name in the host column in your Datadog Log Explorer dashboard.
Select your Datadog REGION.
NOTE: You can find the correct region from your Datadog site URL. For more information about regions, see Datadog Sites.
Enter your Datadog API KEY.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your logs to Datadog.

Fivetran performs the Connect to Datadog setup test to check service accessibility and the credentials you provided in the setup form.
