Why is the connector automatically selecting and syncing certain tables?

Answer

One of the following schema change handling settings are applied to each connector:

• Allow all
• Allow columns
• Block all

If the Allow all option is selected, the connector will automatically select and sync newly-detected tables.

To view the and edit the schema change settings applied to your connector, follow the steps below:

1. In the Fivetran dashboard, navigate to the applicable connector details page.
2. Go to the Schema tab.
3. Click the gear icon to open the Schema Change Settings menu.

To avoid syncing new tables automatically, select either the Block all or Allow columns option.
