New Files Copied Into the Folder From Another Location Are Not Synced

Why is my SharePoint connector not syncing the new files I copied into the shared folder from another location?

Answer

Fivetran uses the lastModifiedDateTime time to determine if a file was updated since the last sync. Sometimes, when copying a file from another location, the lastModifiedDateTime is not changed, so it is an older timestamp. As a result, the connector does not determine that there is anything new to sync.
