Why Doesn't the Certificate Selection Pop-up Always Appear After Adding a New Certificate?

When I add a new certificate to my database and test my connector, a pop-up window often appears where I must choose the certificate I want Fivetran to use. However, sometimes it doesn't appear.

Why doesn't it always appear when I add a new certificate?

Answer

We automatically trust select AWS and Microsoft certificates. When you add a certificate to your database that we automatically trust, the Validating Certificate Test will pass without requiring manual selection, and the pop-up window will not appear.
