How Can I Avoid Reaching the API Quota Limit and Causing Sync Rescheduling?link

Updated 8 days ago

Questionlink

How can I avoid reaching a connector's API quota limit that causes the connector's sync to reschedule?

Environmentlink

Connectors that use the source API to retrieve the data.

Answerlink

There are two ways to avoid reaching the API quota limit:

  1. Increase the API quota for the duration of historical syncs. Historical syncs consume more quota than daily syncs.
  2. Deselect unwanted tables in the Schema tab of your connector dashboard. We display a warning message for the tables that take a long time to sync. For example, Not recommended: Extremely slow and will result in frequent delays! Make sure to deselect these tables if you don't want to sync them.
