Answer

It is not possible to stop a manually triggered connector re-sync. Fivetran requires the connector to finish the re-sync to ensure the correctness and completeness of the data in your destination.

Cause

A full re-sync completely overwrites the data in your destination with new data from your source. When you trigger a re-sync, the connector resets the cursor values that are used for incremental syncs and starts everything from the beginning in a manner similar to the initial sync.
