Error: Failed to Get Setup Form Data

While setting up a connector using BigQuery Data Transfer Service (DTS), the following errors appear:

• Failed to get setup form data
• "exceptionDetails":"{fileName:BqDtsSetupPage.java,lineNumber:165,methodName:setupFormData,className:com.fivetran.app.core.embed.BqDtsSetupPage}"}

Environment

• All connectors
• BigQuery Data Transfer Service (DTS)

Resolution

To resolve this issue, specify one of the following supported dataset regions while setting up your connector:

• US
• EU
• australia-southeast1

NOTE: If your dataset is in a more granular location, specify the appropriate corresponding multi-region while setting up your connector.

Cause

This issue occurs when you specify a single-region dataset location, such as europe-west4, while setting up your connector instead of a supported multi-region.
