Why Do I See a MAR Increase at the Beginning of Each Month?
Question
Why do I see a Monthly Active Rows (MAR) increase at the beginning of each month for all of my connectors?
Environment
All connectors
Answer
Rows only count towards MAR once per month, regardless of subsequent updates to the row within the same month, and MAR resets at the end of each month. Therefore, when we sync new rows and existing rows with updated values on the first day of the month, all rows count towards MAR. As a result, you may encounter what seems like a MAR increase. For more information, see our Usage-Based Pricing documentation.
If your connector's sync strategy includes rollback syncs or re-import tables, we may sync some rows multiple times per month, regardless of whether the data has changed. As a result, MAR increases at the beginning of the month may be particularly noticeable. See the connector's documentation for information about our sync strategy.
