Answer

You may experience sync gaps when we temporarily pause scheduled jobs during an agent upgrade.

During an upgrade, we do the following:

1. Temporarily suspend scheduled jobs.
2. Wait for current integration jobs to complete.
3. Stop and upgrade the agent service.
4. Resume scheduled jobs.

If a long-running job delays the upgrade, we skip smaller jobs until the larger job finishes. Typically, this delay lasts only a few seconds. If the delay exceeds five minutes, we abort the upgrade, resume scheduled jobs, and try again in four hours. As a result, sync gaps should last no longer than five minutes.
