What Happens When I Include a Previously Excluded Table in My Connection Schema?
Question
In the Schema tab in Fivetran, I want to include a table that was previously excluded from my connection schema. Will Fivetran perform a table-level historical sync?
Environment
All connectors
Answer
When you include a previously excluded table, the type of sync Fivetran performs depends on the connector's re-sync behavior.
- If the connector supports table-level re-syncs, we perform a historical sync only for that table. If the table has a parent–child relationship, we may also sync the related tables.
- If the connector only supports connection-level re-syncs, we re-sync the entire connection.
To confirm your connector's re-sync behavior, see the Re-sync row in the Features table within the connector's Fivetran documentation.
