Lob had three main sources of data that it needed to centralize into Redshift: application data in a relational database, static CSV files in S3 and streaming data. Lob has multiple Looker reports and dashboards that combine sources. The operational team can look at in-app usage data in combination with the CSV reporting provided by its printing partner to monitor overall service. The customer team has a customer health score and dashboard that monitors in-app behavior as well as Zendesk tickets, Salesforce items, and more to have a holistic view of the overall health of a customer.
