Snowflake named Fivetran Technology Partner of the Year – Top Performer at its 2020 Partner Summit.
This week, Fivetran was honored with Snowflake’s FY2020 Technology Partner of the Year – Top Performer award at the company’s virtual Partner Summit. As a longtime Snowflake partner with hundreds of joint customers, we are proud to participate in the Snowflake cloud data platform ecosystem and to be recognized for helping customers simplify and accelerate data ingestion with our automated connectors.
Customers, including Square, Outsystems, Ignition Group, DiscoverOrg, Strava, Oldcastle and DocuSign use Fivetran to quickly replicate data into ready-to-query schemas designed specifically for Snowflake. We’re touched by the daily comments from customers remarking how well our two solutions work together as critical components in the modern data stack. In addition to the Top Tech Partner award, Snowflake designated Fivetran with Elite Partner Status — the company’s highest partnership level — as part of its newly created Snowflake Partnership Program. This elite status recognizes the significant work we have put into the integration between our two companies’ solutions to make our joint customers successful. And if that weren’t enough for one day, we’re proud to join a very small group of companies that have earned the Snowflake Validated Connector Badge, which is awarded to those partners committed to enabling a data-driven future for every business.
When I reflect on this recognition by an industry leader such as Snowflake, I simply see it as further validation of Fivetran’s corporate mission and technology vision. While 2020 has been anything but smooth, Fivetran has reached several milestones as a company: We’ve expanded the number of overseas offices, grown our customer base by 75 percent, surpassed the 1,000-customer mark, boosted revenue by more than 150 percent, and more than doubled our global team, which now stands at around 350 employees. That’s all something to be proud of, and we appreciate Snowflake and our joint customers for helping us get there.
Finally, on a personal note, thank you, Snowflake team. We appreciate all of you with whom we work — across alliances, sales, marketing, product and so on. We value the partnership at every individual level. We feel mutual commitment to the work we each put into making this partnership successful, resulting in amazing customer experiences. What I said last year still holds true: We are committed to building on the fantastic momentum from this year into next year and beyond.
